ABOUT THE TREK
The Trek stands as one of the most renowned adventure trekking routes in Sikkim. This route spans the area southwest of Dzongri and, as its name suggests, involves several days of hiking along the Singalila Ridge. This ridge is a lesser mountain chain that emerges from the northern hills of the Darjeeling district and extends to meet the Kanchenjunga massif.
HIGHLIGHTS
The Singalila Ridge serves as the boundary between Sikkim and Darjeeling in the west, bordering Nepal. The Uttarey Singalila Trek route passes through both the Singalila National Park and the Kanchenjunga National Park, which are home to a diverse range of exotic flora and fauna.
The trek offers a breathtaking experience, with lush green forests, vibrant rhododendron flowers, picturesque alpine valleys, enchanting meadows, captivating landscapes, panoramic mountain ranges, and awe-inspiring views of towering snow-capped peaks. Excluded
- Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, chocolates, snacks, mineral water, and battery recharges are not included in the package.
- Costs incurred due to unexpected occurrences such as cancellations, weather problems, damages to property, or illness are not covered.
- Any additional accommodation and meals outside of the planned itinerary will be at your own expense.
- It is essential to have travel, medical, and other necessary insurance coverage for the duration of the trek.
- Personal gear and expenses for the trek are not provided and should be arranged by the participant.
- Accommodations in Darjeeling before and after the trek are not included in the package.
- If you require an extra porter or horse to carry your backpack, this service is available at an additional cost.
